About the author
Professor Jacklyn (Eloise ) Shaw, Education Administrative, Multiple Credentialed, is an Author, Motivator and Grower, born in California. Her BA is Classics from UCB and Masters from UNLV. Louis Dupree, PhD. Harvard, gave her full credits in “Afghanistan…15 Years Later” (American University Field Staff Reports, 10/’76). She conducted ongoing studies in cycles with CCU guides.
Professor Shaw is accomplished, leading in various administrative assignments: Chancellor’s Advisory Committee for foreign students; Chair, Foreign Languages and Media Arts for school accreditation; and District Coordinator for Multi-cultural inservices. She presented a Faculty Seminar on her textbook for thesis writing, when she taught at Kabul University in peaceful 1976 and 1977. As RPCV, Peace Corps, she had inservices in language, history and music with Afghan Embassy.
Jacklyn has exhibited items with Association Supervision and Curriculum and has been an invited speaker in fund-raising events. Published and unpublished, she conducted projects at all learning levels. She received honors from Nevada World Trade and Tourism. She assisted late Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Omar, PhD-Harvard, and International Secretary of Trade and Commerce, like advocacy for “Loya Jirga”, Grand Assembly. Jacklyn appreciates Afghanistan friends in the diaspora and lifelong learners of all walks and interests.
